Music South is a non-profit, community-based organization, founded in 1979 by individuals interested in bringing quality symphonic music to the Wiregrass area, including Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia and the north central Florida Panhandle.
Southeast Alabama Dance Company
The Southeast Alabama Dance Company is an organization consisting of approximately 30 serious dancers who study and perform a diverse repertoire of dance. Dancers in the company are selected annually through a strict audition process. The company presents three local performances each year. These include a holiday season performance of The Nutcracker sometimes accompanied by a live orchestra, a spring performance and an annual summer performance that is offered free to the public.
Southeast Alabama Community Theatre
Southeast Alabama Community Theatre (SEACT) was formed in 1974 to serve Alabama communities of Dothan and the Wiregrass area with opportunities to participate in theatrical productions for public performance.
The Cultural Arts Center is a non-profit organization established in May 2002 to connect the Arts to our Community.
Sports
Water World Water Park features a giant wavepool, triple flume slide, great white slide, kiddie pool, picnic are with grills, and pavilion rental with grills for large groups.
Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail – Highland Oaks
Highland Oaks offers three nine-hole championship courses as well as a nine-hole Short Course. The Highlands/Magnolia combination was named by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” as one of the nation’s Great Value courses.
