Alabama Agricultural Museum at Landmark Park
The Alabama Agricultural Museum has been located at Landmark Park since 1992, by Act no. 92-541. On Monday, January 10 at 10 a.m., Landmark Park reopened the Alabama Agricultural Museum with all-new exhibits. The 6,000 square foot building showcases the agricultural history of the Wiregrass region in the 1890s. A sampling of artifacts from Landmark Park’s collection are on display. Special thanks to Governor Kay Ivey for speaking at the opening.
The Alabama Agricultural Museum is open on Wednesdays-Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Admission to the museum is free with your paid Landmark Park admission ($5 for adults, $4 for kids, free for park members and children 2 and under). Special staff-led activities that explore our agricultural history will take place in the museum every fourth Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
