Accessibility
Because Landmark Park simulates the rural environment of the 1890s and provides a natural setting, some areas of the park have limited accessibility. While the Interpretive Center, elevated boardwalk and several historic buildings have ramps, others do not. Nature trails, spaces between buildings and open areas may have unlevel terrain, tree roots or sandy areas that may pose minor challenges to those in a wheelchair.
Buildings that are handicapped accessible are: Waddell Farmhouse, Martin Drugstore, Shelley General Store, Stokes Activity Barn, and the Interpretive Center. Handicapped accessible picnic tables are located in the Playground Pavilion and the picnic area.
SERVICE ANIMALS
While no pets are allowed on the park grounds, service animals are permitted for persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
