What:  Can’t travel to the Smithsonian Museum no worries! Coming this August, you have a chance to see the traveling Smithsonian Exhibit featuring “Innovations in Rural America” at Landmark Park.

Why:  This is a once in a lifetime exhibit as Landmark Park is one of only five sites across the state to showcase it.
This exciting six panel display showcases inventions and innovations that have shaped our country.
It focuses on both the inventors and the impacts they had on society.
This exhibit focuses on STEM and History! It would make a great Field Trip for Students as well.
While viewing the exhibit you will also get a chance to share your story of Invention or Innovation that you or someone in your family has developed!

When:  The exhibit opens August 1st and remains open through August 30th. You can view it Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am until 4 pm daily and is included in your paid gate admission.

Adults: $5 each (over 12 years old)
Kids: $4 each (12 and under)

Where: The exhibit will be housed in the Interpretive Center at the park just behind the iconic white gazebo in the center of the historic section.

And More:  After viewing the exhibit check out our Planetarium, Reptiles, and Nature Boardwalk all found in the same area.

We can’t wait to see you at the Smithsonian Exhibit! You don’t want to miss it!
